"The Last Territory" is one of the major events in Bulgarian literature, not only for 2016, but for the whole decade. A man wakes up in Barcelona, with no idea how he got there. Nothing is familiar to him, even his own face. The woman tattooed on his arm looks strikingly like a goddess statue in a Barcelona square. He meets the mysterious Elena and slowly begins to remember. Manolo was born with deformed limbs, one of the victims of the medication thalidomide. He becomes a popular psychiatrist and is able to cross the fabric of reality into the Last and most mysterious territory: the sleep. Between Manolo and the man, who doesn't know his face, there is a hidden connection inside the labyrinth of this deep novel.
