Kristina Ohlsson has worked in the security services and in the fight against terrorism. Since 2006 she has been a professional writer and the author of twelve books: thrillers and non-fiction. The Glass Children is her first novel for children, followed by The Silver Boy and The Stone Angel.

The Glass Children won the prestigious Swedish Radio Prize for Best Children’s Novel of 2013, awarded by a jury of children. The book has been borrowed from public libraries more than 40,000 times in less than a year and is a bestseller in Sweden and eight other European countries.
