The Cisco Catalyst C8300-2N2S-6T Router is part of the Catalyst C8300 series. It features 6x 1Gbps embedded Layer 3 Ethernet ports (2x Ethernet ports that can support Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP or SFP+) + 4x RJ-45 connections, enabling fiber or copper connectivity). It supports modular LAN ports with modules such as NIM-ES2-4/8, NIM-ES2-8-P, and C-SM-16P4M2X/40P8M2X. It has 2x SFP/SFP+ ports, 2x NIM slots, 1x PIM module slot, and 2x SM network slots. It supports up to 4000 IPsec SVTI tunnels. Security features include built-in end-to-end segmentation (VPNs), ZBFW, PKI, Cisco DNA Layer Security, Snort IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, Advanced Protection (AMP), ThreatGrid (TG), and ALG for ZBFW. It supports a variety of voice modules. It comes with 8G default DRAM, upgradeable to 16G and 32G, and integrated on-board 8G flash (not upgradeable) with M.2 storage upgrade options. It has 0 USB ports. Dimensions: 254.3 x 470.4 x 88.9 mm. All Catalyst 8300 models ship with default 16G M.2 USB for SD-WAN logging and additional storage, upgradeable to 32G M.2 USB and 600G M.2 NVMe.
