Frosina Parmakovska (b. 1985) is the young hope of contemporary Macedonian literature, which is experiencing a true upswing. She is the author of three books. In 2015, her novel Cherry Chronicle was a finalist for the most prestigious literary award in Macedonia – “Novel of the Year”. The book received not only high critical acclaim but also reached the hearts of many readers, touching them and making them better and more responsible towards their own destiny.
